Línea de Investigación

El objetivo de nuestro trabajo es comprender los mecanismos moleculares involucrados en la remodelación dela pared vegetal. Para ello he centrado mi trabajo en el desarrollo y aplicaciones de técnicas de genómica funcional. Así, el principal objetivo de trabajo es entender la dinámica de la pared celular en dos aspectos: formación y desensamblaje de la pared vegetal. Se aplican en el laboratorio, técnicas tales como: RAPD, microsatélites, AFLP, RNA-seq. El estudio de transcritos, clonamiento, expresiónheteróloga y caracterización ha sido abordado en el laboratorio, en este sentido técnicas de genómica funcional, generación de bases de dato genómica y bioinformáticaestructural han sido implementadas.
