fusion-text-1\" style=\"transform:translate3d(0,0,0);\"><p>Trabajo en ecolog\u00eda molecular y gen\u00f3mica funcional de insectos herb\u00edvoros y sus enemigos naturales, investigando los mecanismos gen\u00e9ticos y moleculares involucrados en la interacci\u00f3n insecto-planta e insecto-insecto que conducen procesos de especializaci\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica, el \u00e9xito de insectos plagas y sus enemigos naturales introducidos en Chile, y la evoluci\u00f3n de la resistencia a insecticidas. Estamos identificando genes que subyacen a estas interacciones bi\u00f3ticas y abi\u00f3ticas usando como sistemas de estudio a los \u00e1fidos (pulgones) y avispas parasitoides de \u00e1fidos.
